How Your Donation Helps
Through your donations, The Ottawa Mission serves an average of 1,307 meals each day to people in need. The average cost per plate is $3.47, so even a small donation can go a long way. Donations also help pay for practical items to keep the shelter operating efficiently – including things like new kitchen equipment, upgrades to the heating system and so many other operational expenses. Finally, donations support the vital programming that we offer 24/7, 365 days a year including addiction treatment, housing support services, education and job training support and so much more.
